The vineyards of the Jura offer a unique atmosphere, as much for the quality of their vines as for the warmth and friendliness of their winemakers.

The Jiva Hill Resort also places you in an environment whose history has been shaped by vineyards and wine.

It was in this region in 1936 that Arbois became the first vineyard in France to obtain an AOC. It rubs shoulders with other appellations d'origine contrôlée such as Côtes du Jura, Château-Chalon and Étoile. Jura is also home to 3 Protected Designations of Origin (PDO), and offers you the chance to taste exceptional wines such as Macvin du Jura, Marc du Jura and Crémant du Jura. There are also 5 quality grape varieties: Pinot noir, Poulsard, Trousseau, Savagnin and Chardonnay. It's definitely in the intimate setting of the Jiva Hill Resort that you'll have the greatest pleasure of tasting the mythical vin jaune, made from the Savagnin grape variety, another classic of the French Jura. And don't miss a final wine with astonishing flavors, Vin de Paille, made from dried grapes before pressing and fermentation.
